Annual meeting of the VBE group.

For two days, August 17-18, the VBE group met in Biskobshuset in Lund for discussions about ongoing and future work within the program. Focus was on new areas of collaboration between the participants in the program.

Both Pittsburgh and Leeds were present at the meeting and we were very happy to welcome three new participants to the group. From CMU, Barry Dewitt, working on utility measures for quality of life. From Leeds, Carmen Lefevre and Andrea Taylor who both work with Wändi on lay person perception of weather and climate change.

The meeting resulted in a bunch of new ideas for research and, important for a multi-disciplinary research program as this is, a tightening of the group through informal discusisons during the two days.
