Presentations of VBE related work in Vancouver and Washington, D. C.

Tamar Krishnamurti, researcher from CMU in Pittsburgh, is associated to the VBE program. She visited the Annual Meeting of the Society for Medical Decision Making in Vancouver and a workshop in Washington, D. C., at the Federal Trade Commission. At both occasions she presented work related to VBE.


Engaging a high-risk pregnancy population: Results from a proof-of-concept pilot of the MyHealthyPregnancy App.

Presentation at the 2016 Annual Meeting of the Society of Medical Decision Making, Vancouver, Canada. 

Summary: This presentation discusses the development and evaluation of a smartphone app for assessing and providing patient-specific risk and pertinent resources for a group of low-income women during pregnancy. 

 

Federal Trade Commission workshop Putting Disclosures to the Test. September, 2016. Washington, D.C. 

Summary: This workshop addresses new existing approaches to designing and providing disclosures to consumers in order to make them more efficient and more effective.
