Wändi Bruine de Bruin
Wändi Bruine de Bruin is Professor of Behavioural Decision Making (with Leadership Chair) at the Leeds University Business School, where she also serves as the co-Director of the interdisciplinary Centre for Decision Research. She also holds positions as Visiting Professor at the Federal Reserve Bank of New York (US), Associate Professor of Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University (US) and Adjunct Senior Behavioral Researcher at the RAND Corporation (US). She received a PhD in Behavioural Decision Making and Psychology from Carnegie Mellon University (US), and an MSc in Cognitive Psychology from the Free University in Amsterdam (the Netherlands).
Her research interests include individual differences in decision-making across the lifespan; consumer decisions about health, finances and sustainability; risk perception and risk communication; and behaviour change. Her research has been published in high-ranking journals in disciplines including economics, psychology, public health, and engineering.
Professor Bruine de Bruin will contribute experimental work to the present research programme.
